Last Updated: 29/06/26
By engaging Subsite services, you agree to the following terms.
These Terms and Conditions apply to services provided by Subsite, a trading name of Jack Legge, a self-employed sole trader based in the UK.
1. Services
Subsite provides website design, development, hosting, and ongoing support as a subscription-based service.
Services are delivered based on the agreed plan and scope at the time of signup.
2. Subscription and payment
Services are provided on a monthly subscription basis.
Payment is due in advance of each billing period.
Where recurring payments are set up, your subscription will renew automatically each month.
If paying by invoice, payment must be made within the agreed timeframe stated on the invoice.
If payment is not received, I may pause or suspend services, including access to the website, until payment is received.
3. Fair usage
All plans include ongoing updates and support under a fair usage model.
Fair usage covers reasonable requests such as:
text updates
image changes
adding sections or small improvements
Larger requests (such as full redesigns, major new features, or significant additional work) are not included and may require additional scope or a different plan.
4. Scope of services
The number of pages, features, and functionality included depends on your selected plan.
Requests outside of the agreed plan may require an upgrade or separate agreement.
5. Client responsibilities
To deliver services effectively, you agree to:
provide accurate and timely information
supply content, assets, and feedback when requested
ensure you have rights to any materials provided
ensure any content provided is accurate and lawful
Delays in providing required information may affect timelines.
6. Hosting and infrastructure
Websites are hosted and managed using third-party providers.
I take reasonable care in selecting reliable services, but I am not responsible for outages or issues caused by third-party platforms.
7. Ownership and access
Websites are provided as part of an ongoing service.
You are granted use of the website while your subscription is active.
If your subscription ends, the website will no longer be actively managed or hosted by Subsite and may be taken offline.
The website remains part of the Subsite service and is not transferred to you as a standalone asset unless agreed separately.
Access to files, design systems, or underlying infrastructure is not included unless agreed separately.
8. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time.
Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period, and no further charges will be made.
No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
9. Suspension and termination
I reserve the right to suspend or terminate services if:
payment is not received
there is use of the website for unlawful, harmful, or inappropriate purposes
there is abusive or unreasonable behaviour
Where possible, I will provide notice before suspension.
10. Liability
I take reasonable care in delivering services, but I do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
I do not guarantee specific business outcomes, such as increased traffic, leads, or sales.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for:
loss of business, revenue, or profits
indirect or consequential losses
My total liability is limited to the amount paid for services in the previous 3 months.
11. Changes to services
I may update or improve services over time.
Where changes materially affect your service, I will communicate this in advance.
12. Pricing changes
I may update pricing from time to time.
Where this affects your subscription, I will provide reasonable notice before any changes take effect.
13. Changes to these terms
These Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time.
The latest version will always be available on the website.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
15. Events outside my control
I am not responsible for delays or failure to perform services due to events outside my reasonable control.
